Our first Shaving Soap, born as a prototype and gradually developed up to the “Beta 4.0” version, is now available in our best Beta 4.3 formulation. Enriched with Dryopteris filix-mas root extract (Male Fern), it has skin-balancing qualities.
The new aluminum jar, with screw lid and more robust structure than the previous container, is the demonstration of a step forward in accordance with the requests of our customers.
Scent Description
The fragrance opens with the sparkling notes of Bergamot, Lemon and Tangerine. Then we come to the body, characterized by the spiciness of the Ginger root and Sichuan Pepper, all accompanied by the heady freshness of the Bourbon Geranium leaves. The base of the fragrance is a sensual mix of amber notes, Sandalwood, Patchouli and Vetiver. The Aromatic Fern fragrance blends with the aromas of natural additives, creating a fresh and intense note, well known and appreciated in the traditional wet-shaving community.

- Ternifolia Macadamia Seed Oil: Macadamia oil (known to have a sun protection factor “SPF” natural. In addition to protecting the skin from the sun is moisturizing and regenerating)

- Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter: Shea butter (emollient, moisturizing, rejuvenating the skin barrier)

- Oryza Sativa (Rice) Starch: rice starch (softening, soothing)
- Xanthan Gum: Xanthan gum (a thickener, lubricant)

Usage advice
Our formulations contain active ingredients that, in order to give the best perfomance, need to solubilize and/or melt. The maximum performance can be obtained in this way:
- cover the soap surface with a thin veil of hot water for few minutes. The quantity of water needed may vary depending on your water hardness and the rate of humidity of the soap, a correct quantity is when the whole soap surface is covered by water,
- soak a badger shaving brush (being it the best perfomer when it comes to water absorbing),
- rinse it well and then pour the thin veil of water that bloomed the soap on the knot, and then start loading (20-30 seconds),
- face/bowl lather without adding water.
