Description

The Masamune Razor was the first TATARA shaving product to be produced. It has been fashioned with the look of a classic safety razor but with unique lines of the future and, due to a minimalist design is able to transmit our view supported by purity, elegance, and simplicity.

The Masamune Razor is a smooth and efficient razor. This is due to its small blade gap and negative blade exposure. The closed comb plate is our smoothest option and the most popular. It is designed with small grooves along the edges of the plate giving less blade exposure to the skin.

EVERY PIECE IS HAND FINISHED All pieces from the Masamune Series are hand finished by our team in order to extinguish every machining marks and to soften all the edges.

SANDBLAST FINISH After the final hand-finishing, we apply a sandblast treatment. The most important characteristic of this treatment is to achieve a smoother and peaceful look. Consequently, we apply the sandblast finish piece by piece.
