1. What is a derma roller?

A derma roller is a tool studded with hundreds of extremely fine micro-needles that rolls gently over the skin’s surface making tiny little pricks on the skin (the process is also known as Micro-needling). Throughout the years derma rollers have been used for everything from helping to reduce scarring, increasing the absorption of medical treatments into the skin to stimulating hair growth. 2. How does derma rolling work?

Firstly, by penetrating the skin’s surface it assists haircare or skincare products to sink into the skin deeper. Secondly, the micro-needles gentling pierce the epidermal layers which trigger the skin to produce more collagen and blood flow.

3. Does derma rolling hurt?

Due to the extremely small size of the needles, derma rollers cause minimum skin damage or pain. We recommend to avoid using a derma roller if your skin is infected, irritated, has dermatitis or if the skin is broken.
